Agri-food company specialized in the cultivation of pistachio, process, elaboration and packaging of nuts.

Our beginnings date back to 1982, starting the first pistachio plantations in the Iberian Peninsula.

The pistachio adventure continued with that of walnuts and currently with the selection of the best harvests from a wide range of nuts, in order to serve the best quality of nut.

In our facilities we are selecting the fruits, calibrating, roasting, frying, salting, caramelizing, vacuum packaging and compensating in order to maintain all the freshness and flavor of the nuts until their consumption.

Our plantations are located in Maials (Lleida, Spain) right next to our production center.

We prepare our nuts with various processes, which allows us to offer a wide variety of products.

Our History

The history of Foment Agrícola de les Garrigues begins in 1982, pistachio growers in the lands of Maials in Lleida, as a substitute tree for the almond and olive trees of the old dry lands.

In 1997 the factory was inaugurated in the town of Sant Martí Sarroca (Barcelona) with which the range of processed nuts was expanded, making roasted, fried, caramelized, chocolate-covered and pastes, packaged in vacuum glass jars.

In 2014 we moved to Maials (Lleida) next to our pistachio fields for the processing and elaboration of more range of nuts.

In 2017 the Maials warehouse was expanded with new facilities and offices.

2020 in the process of obtaining the IFS certificate, expanding and modifying our facilities to comply with its regulations, as well as expanding the quality department.
